General FAQs for Panelists and Guests

What is The Punch List?

The Punch List is a groundbreaking show that brings bold conversations, exciting debates, and fun storytelling to the commercial construction industry. Think First Take or The Pat McAfee Show but tailored for construction professionals, highlighting the game changers, innovators, and leaders shaping the industry.

Do I need prior TV or broadcasting experience to be on the show?

Absolutely not! We’re looking for authentic voices with a passion for commercial construction. If you have insights, personality, and a willingness to engage in dynamic conversations, you’re a perfect fit.

What’s the time commitment to be a panelist?

As a core panelist, we’re asking for a commitment of at least one season, which includes filming two 30-minute episodes per month. If you can’t commit to the full season, you can appear as a guest when your schedule allows.

Where is the show filmed?

All episodes are filmed at our professional studio in Anaheim, CA, just minutes from the Honda Center.

How do I prepare for the show?

We’ll provide you with a brief overview of topics ahead of filming. All we ask is that you bring your unique perspective, insights, and personality to the table.

Is this a paid opportunity?

Panelist roles are unpaid for now but come with significant exposure and the opportunity to build your personal and professional brand. As the show grows, paid opportunities may become available.

Can I suggest topics for discussion?

Absolutely! We encourage panelists and guests to bring their ideas and expertise to the table.

What if I can’t commit to being a panelist but want to participate?

No problem! Let us know, and we can consider you for guest appearances when your schedule allows.

Do panelists and guests get paid for being on The Punch List?

Currently, panelists and guests are not paid, as this is a brand-new platform. However, there are major benefits to being part of the show:

Industry Exposure – You’ll be positioned as a thought leader in commercial construction, reaching decision-makers and key players.

Brand Growth – Whether you’re a company executive, an industry expert, or a consultant, being on The Punch List helps boost your credibility and authority.

Networking Opportunities – You’ll connect with influential leaders, sponsors, and brands in the industry.

As the show gains traction and sponsorship revenue grows, compensation opportunities may become available in the future.

Will panelists have a chance to be paid in the future?

Yes. As The Punch List scales and secures sponsorship deals, paid opportunities will be explored for core panelists who commit to a season. The long-term goal is to monetize the show and share that success with key contributors.

Can panelists or guests promote their own business or brand?

Yes—this is one of the biggest advantages of being on The Punch List. If you have a product, service, or company in the commercial construction space, appearing on the show gives you direct visibility in front of industry leaders and decision-makers.

Example:
If you own a construction tech company, you can naturally bring it up in discussions when relevant.

Branded Segments:
We may also offer custom sponsorships for panelists who want extra promotion for their company.

Can panelists bring in their own sponsors to get paid?

Yes! If a panelist secures a sponsor for a segment or show episode, we are open to revenue-sharing opportunities. This means if you bring in a company that wants to advertise on the show, you may receive a percentage of the sponsorship deal.

This creates an opportunity for panelists to monetize their presence while helping grow the show.

Are there other ways panelists can make money through The Punch List?

Yes. While direct payments aren’t available yet, there are several ways panelists can benefit financially:

Speaking Engagements – Increased exposure on the show can lead to industry speaking opportunities.

Consulting & Business Growth – If you provide consulting or services, appearing as a thought leader can help attract new business.

Affiliate Partnerships & Brand Collaborations – As the show expands, there may be opportunities to work with sponsors on branded content, giving panelists a chance to earn.

If I become a panelist, am I locked into a contract?

No. While we prefer season-long commitments, panelists are not locked into a long-term contract and can opt out if their availability changes. However, panelists who stick with the show will have first access to future paid opportunities.
